At the MIX 2011, Microsoft demoed the Kinect SDK and showed us how easy it is to navigate the WorldWide Telescope with your Kinect. Well, it looks like Microsoft might be able to pull it off! The intuitive control of a PC with only a few gestures that we saw in Minority Report just a few years ago will soon become reality. We are truly living in exciting times!
The demo gives us hope that Windows 8 will have full Kinect support. Who isn't looking forward to just clapping his hand to shut down the PC or do some simple gestures to run a scheduled backup, start a movie or open the ebook reader?
