Sync is another good product for you if you like giving instructions to machines or if you like talking.

Using Sync you can give instructions to your car. Sync is a Microsoft product mostly used in Ford Motors cars. It provides features such as

1. Hands free phone

2. Control your music player with your voice command

3. Advance voice recognition system that can dial contact specified in your contact list

4. Vehicle health report

5. 911 assistance that can dial police/ambulance if your car has accident.

6. Traffic, direction and information services

Talking

If your car has sync and your phone support blue tooth you do can talk while driving

• Dial a phone number
• Answer an incoming call
• Redial
• Other basic call functionality

Texting

You can also send and receive text message by giving voice instructions if your phone can send/receive message over blue tooth. A New Message will appear on your car radio display. You can give instruction "Read Message" and Sync will read message. You can give instruction to reply or to forward message while driving.

Accessing Phone contact list

There are additional features such as download phone book into car memory. Once you have contact list in car, you can directly give instruction such as

• Call James Call James at Home
• Call James at Work

Getting Vehicle Health report

You can give instruction to your car to end car/vehicle health report. The report will be sent to you with detail info such as oil, Tyre pressure etc.

You can run the report on need basis or set the report to be automatically generated when certain number of miles are run by car.

Getting Traffic Direction

To get directions give instructions

• Directions.
• Specify Destination address.
• Sync will download direction/route in your car
• You can use various commands to know next turn, route status etc. If your system has a display, instructions will be displayed in your car integrated display too.. (Unlike GPS you wont see a map here)

You can save your favorite point in GPS such as Home, Work, School and everyday check traffic info while driving.

911 Assist

You should call 911 if car has a crash. This is additional safety net â€" if car has crash, airbag etc are deployed. Ford Sync recognize this as car crash and try to dial 911 if your sync system is not damaged, your phone has battery and working etc.

Languages

You can use English, French and German language in Sync.
