the new windows phone

In 2010, HTC released a number of Windows Phone 7 operated devices. But, in 2011, tactics adopted by the company have been somewhat altered. Kicking off the updates for the new Windows Phone 7 Mango, the company plans to launch only two smartphones in its ever expanding range, which comprises its HTC Radar and the HTC Titan.
The HTC Radar is expressly designed as a replacement for the company's HTC 7 Trophy and HTC 7 Mozart. In doing this however, the company has introduced several ingenious features, while simultaneously offering a somewhat middle-range point of entry into the mainstream arena that is occupied by the Windows Phone 7 world. Those style conscious smartphone users out there are sure to love the HTC Radar. Features wise, the HTC Titan is sure to be the order of the day, however this does not mean that the HTC Radar sacrifices style for substance.

As a cameraphone, it is a competent device. Its 5 megapixel unit is on hand to take high quality still images, as well as 720p HD video footage at a rate of 30 frames per second.
With its actual measurements of 120mm height, 61.5mm width, and 10.8mm thickness, the HTC Radar can hardly be called the flattest, the thinnest, or for that matter the most attractive smartphone on the market today, although with its silver and white finish, its design somewhat reflects the tablet by the company, the HTC Flyer.
As Windows Phone powered devices go, this is certainly one of the most advanced. From the high resolution S-LCD capacitive touchscreen, to its superfast download speeds of 14.4 Mbps, it has all the tools to make it ideal for both work and play. It may not have the credentials to take on many high end Android or iOS powered handsets, but for those who are already fans of the operating system, it is certainly worth a closer look and incorporates a number of desirable features which until now have not been seen on a Windows Phone 7 device.
With white plastic to facilitate its antenna and a metal finish to its case, the HTC Radar design displays inner strengths and an all purpose functional stability. A slip-off cover slides to expose the SIM slot and battery. The renowned HTC build quality matched with the impressive interface provided by the Microsoft software offers a unique smartphone experience. If you are looking for an alternative to the abundant iPhone and Android devices which are currently flooding the market, and a stylish one to boot, the HTC Radar is a great choice.
