upcoming windows 7 phones

Rapid advancements in electronics and telecommunications technology brought about a revolution in the way people communicate. The computer, which used to be bulky and immobile, is now ubiquitously incorporated into a smartphone via mobile operating systems like the Windows Phone. Intelligent mobile computing is the current trend of mobile devices more than the basic telecommunication capabilities. Now, the consumer market get to enjoy the advanced features of this premier mobile operating system, unlike before in which the older Windows Mobile platform was aimed primarily for the enterprise market.

The Windows Phone, which was previously known as the Windows Phone 7 Series, was launched in the fourth quarter of 2010. Microsoft's latest and most advanced system features a user-friendly user interface by making use of Metro, the design language also used for the upcoming Windows 8 operating system. This overarching scheme allows end-users to transition smoothly between Windows fully functional and mobile operating systems by providing consistent style and format.
As part of Microsoft Corporation's aim for semi-open development, the Windows Phone mobile operating system integrates third-party services created by independent developers. Several Microsoft services are, of course, pre-installed in the product. Service updates can also be downloaded direct from their website. Third party services installed with this platform are even allowed to control the hardware components of the mobile device enabling a great number of possibilities and innovations.
Smartphone manufacturers like Dell, LG, and Samsung designed mobile devices that would unlock the full potential of the Windows Phone. Enhanced touch technology designed into the system allows for an overall great interface experience. In the first quarter of 2011, Nokia partners with Microsoft to manufacture mobile devices that would primarily use this system. Months later, the mobile operating system expands with more OEM partners like Acer, Fujitsu, and ZTE. This wide expansion of this system across different hardware developers ensures end-users crossover compatibility with various mobile devices from these leading manufacturers.
Windows Phone houses all the basic features to create the most comprehensive mobile devices. Aside from the innovative Metro design language, the mobile operating system has advanced text input scheme and multimedia messaging. The dominating Internet Explorer browser is also incorporated as the Internet Explorer Mobile version. Reviews on mobile devices based on this platform are mostly positive. Tips and guides are published by enthusiasts to offer support for the expanding community. This platform has been doing pretty good since its launch and received a number of awards ever since.
Here you can find reviews, tips and trick about windows phone mobile operating system.

htc desire

The new HTC Desire is now available in a new black casing alongside the original brown model, the HTC Desire Black edition takes the same great features, technology and design found in the original handset and encases them in a new, sleek black finish.
One of the most sought after mobile phones on the market, the Desire is proving a problem for many networks and retailers with demand outstripping supply. This is proving to make the new Black HTC Desire even more popular with consumers wanting a little bit of exclusivity.
The main features of this latest HTC phone include a 3.7 inch AMOLED touch screen, 5.0 mega pixel camera, a fast 1GHz processor and the very latest Android 2.1 operating system.
Being an Android phone the Desire grants access to over 30,000 new applications and games to download at super fast speeds over 3.5G with HSDPA technology, there is also WiFi and GPS built in for wireless connections and satellite navigation.
The main rival to the HTC Desire is the latest Google phone; the Nexus One. This new handset dubbed the 'Super' phone by Google is actually manufactured by HTC for the search engine giant and in our honest opinion falls short in terms of features when compared to their own Desire model.
The Nexus One opts for the older style trackball for physical navigation of its menu system, however this is not overly needed as multi touch screen technology means that the user can access everything via the main screen.

The HTC Desire replaces the trackball with an optical trackpad which allows you to simply swipe your finger across rather like an optical mouse. The Nexus One also does not support Flash 10.1 out of the box whereas the Desire does and HTC's own handset runs the Sense user interface which many claim to be one of the best on the market.
The Black HTC Desire is a network exclusive handset on the Orange network, this means that for a limited time period consumers will only be able to connect this latest Android phone to Orange contract deals. After this initial exclusive period has ended other network operators will be able to pick up the new black edition Android phone and we suspect that it will emerge as a SIM Free device very soon as well.
HTC have had a busy year so far launching a number of new models including the recently released HTC Legend which runs on the same Android 2.1 OS but slims down the dimensions of the Desire and offers a 3.2 inch touch screen - it is actually the upgrade for the previous Hero handset.
More recently, the manufacturer has made available their new HTC HD Mini phone which is a more compact version of the extremely popular HTC HD2, both are Windows powered devices but the new HD Mini sheds weight and mass to offer a 3.2 inch touch screen over the massive 4.3 inch of the HD2 making for a more pocket friendly device.
There is also a new silver edition HTC Desire on its way although there are no confirmed release dates as yet.
The HTC Desire and new Black HTC Desire are two of many new handset s from the manufacturer to be launched this year.
